Three ways in, no discovery deck needed

In adversity we grow

Services tells you what we do. This page tells you how it works to hire us: the three shapes an engagement can take, what happens week by week, how pricing works and who we’re right for. One team from strategy to launch. Fixed prices. You own everything.

Three shapes, one team

Most relationships start with an audit or a project and continue as a retainer. Some start as a retainer because the site already exists. None of them start with a six-week discovery phase billed by the day.

Pricing, plainly

The number is in the proposal, not in the invoice

We don’t publish a price list because no two briefs are the same. We do publish the rules — the same five in every proposal we write.

  • 01

Offering Pricing - Fixed prices for projects

You know the number before we start, and it doesn’t move unless the scope does. If it needs to, we say so in writing before spending it.

  • 02

Offering Pricing - Monthly fees for retainers

Three tiers, priced by scope and seniority rather than by the hour. Hours are a planning tool for us, not a meter for you.

  • 03

Offering Pricing - No hourly rates

We don’t sell time, we sell outcomes. You won’t find a rate card on this site or in a proposal.

  • 04

Offering Pricing - A proposal within a week

Every proposal includes scope, timeline, price, milestones and the people on the team. It is free, and it is yours to keep whichever way you decide.

  • 05

Offering Pricing - You own everything

Design files, code, repositories, accounts, domains. From day one they are in your name; we hold access, not ownership.

04/06 | Process

You see work every week

The most common agency failure is silence followed by a big reveal. We run the opposite: small steps, visible work, decisions at milestones.

  • 01

    Brief

A 45-minute call and a short questionnaire. We want the job the thing has to do, the constraints, the deadline and who decides. No deck required.

Within a weekA written proposal: scope, timeline, price, team
  • 02

    Proposal

Fixed scope, fixed price, a timeline with milestones and the names of the people doing the work. You sign it, or you tell us what to change.

    Build

Strategy, design and engineering run by one team, in weekly cycles. You see work every week in Figma and on staging, and you approve at milestones, not at the end.

WeeklyA review, a staging link, a short written update
  • 04

    Launch

Testing, content migration, redirects, tracking, accessibility checks and go-live. We are on the call when it switches over, and for the week after.

At launchEverything handed over: files, code, accounts, documentation
  • 05

    Run

Launch is the middle of the project. A retainer keeps the site fast, safe and improving; or you take the keys and call us when you need to.

Monthly, if retainedA delivery report and a quarterly review
05/06 | Who it’s for

A good fit

Probably not

  • Founders launching something and wanting it to look established from day one

  • Organisations rebuilding a site, a brand or a product that has outgrown its first version

  • Companies without an in-house design or engineering team who want one partner, not five vendors

  • Teams that have traffic and no conversions, or a product and no story

  • Public, cultural and non-profit organisations with more to say than a template can hold

  • You need a body-shop: developers billed by the hour, managed by you

  • You’re running a pitch competition between six agencies

  • You want a logo by Friday and nothing else

  • The brief is "make it pop" and there is nobody who can say what it has to do

  • You need a team in the room every day — we work remotely and meet when it matters
